FilmyZilla is a structured movie catalogue — 5,000 titles and 3,304 credited people, organised by industry, year, genre and cast member.

What you get on every title

• The poster, where one is published.
• A plot summary, credited to its source rather than rewritten to fill space.
• The full credited cast and the director, each linking to their own filmography page.
• Runtime, genre, release year, rating and vote count.
• A Where to watch block listing the legitimate platforms carrying the title — with the date that block was last verified.

What this site deliberately does not do

There are no downloads here and no streams. We do not host film files, we do not embed players, and we do not link to pirated copies of anything in this catalogue. Sites that promise a free download of a film still in theatres are either serving you malware or serving you ads — and the copy is usually a cam recording with a fake label. That is not a thing we want any part of.

What we do instead is tell you where a film is actually available, legally, and link you there. It is less exciting and considerably more useful.

Where the data comes from

Metadata is drawn from Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0) and normalised into one shape before it reaches a page. Streaming availability is the volatile part: rights move between platforms constantly, so every movie page carries the date its availability block was last checked rather than implying the information is always current.

Coverage

Bollywood, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hollywood, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Assamese, Bhojpuri, Regional Indian — 13 of which currently have titles in the catalogue. Coverage is uneven by design: we go deep on Indian cinema first, then fill outward.

Corrections

If a credit is wrong, a plot is misattributed, or a film has moved platform, tell us — see the contact page. Corrections are applied to the record and the verification date is bumped. For what we record when you visit, see the privacy policy.
